Why do people fail in MLM, direct sales, network marketing, a new business venture, or really at anything for that matter? Why do some then also succeed with little talent or money to start with?

I will tell you three BIG reasons in my option. This is not the only three reasons, just three possible reasons that people quit or fail.

The FIRST reason that a lot people fail is a lack of PASSION. A lot of people get all fired up at first, and work hard at their goal but then they fizzle out and lose passion for their business, product or goal. If you have no real passion for your product, business or goal you will run out of gas when you need it most. When the going gets tough it is passion that will pull you through. Even if your goal is to be a bird watcher, if you lose passion for it you will not want to pick up your camera and binoculars and ride to the country to watch the pretty birds.

So pick a business with a product that you have a REAL passion for and you will be ahead of the game from the start. The passion you have will show and will be contagious for some. It will be your gas in the tank for your new journey. If you have only a little passion, expect only a little bit of results.

Reason number TWO that a lot of people quit or fail is a lack of FOCUS. We all have 168 hours a week. Some people have a regular job they work 10 hours a day, 4 kids to take care of, dinner to make, lawn to mow, emails to check, clothes to wash, and so on..... but... SOME with all that to do... still accomplish a big goal that takes a lot of time and energy to achieve. How do they do this? They are FOCUSED. They are organized and they prioritize. Even if you have 14 hours a day to devote to your new business you will still need to learn how to focus.

You need to do what is most important first and really focus and work at your new goals. We need to focus our time and energy in the best way we can in order to achieve the best results we can. The more focused you are, the more you can get done in a less amount of time.

Reason number THREE is.... MONEY, or the LACK of MONEY Like it or not, any new goal or business or even talent you want to cultivate requires some amount of money. If you want to be a professional bird watcher, you need a nice pair of binoculars and maybe even a nice camera to take pictures of your little flying friends. To start a real business even online you need a certain amount of money to get the ball rolling. Like it or not.. the more money you have to spend on any goal the more you can usually accomplish. The tools, training, marketing, hiring, designing, and other expenses that it takes to launch a successful business are not very cheap.

Most real business owners have a marketing budget, on top of all their other budgets. I am not saying that you can just have a lot of money and be good at anything and accomplish any goal. I am just saying that you of course need a certain amount of money to do anything. You can start with a small budget and still accomplish BIG things of course, but you have to start with something. Some people run out of money right before they are about to become successful, this is a sad truth.

So, in my option you need to have the passion, the focus, and the money to get started at a big new goal. If you have those three things you can pretty much accomplish anything. Of course there is more to it then that but I thin that is a great start!
