If you follow the popular trends today, it would seem like all internet money making opportunities are inexplicably tied to expensive home-study courses, and so called micro-continuity programs. Micro-continuity programmes is another phrase which means automatically billing your credit card every month for one thing or another. But new entrants to the Internet marketing arena are prepared for this, and they should not be forced to participate in it either.
For one thing, newbies (people who are new to Internet marketing) are at the bottom of the learning curve, and will usually waste their money on these things, unless they are highly motivated. Any offer made to them, should be easy to follow, lucrative, and has built-in mentoring systems to help them succeed.
I can tell you straight up, that 9 out of every 10 newbies will fail to profitably use blogging systems, for example, that cost $150 a month to maintain! They just don't have the skills to justify these tools right at the beginning of their online marketing career.
Here are three (3) features of all good Internet money making opportunities that will help newbies succeed online within the first three months:
1. The IM programme Must be affordable to most people
By this I mean that any programme offered to newbies, must be priced between $50 and $100. If the cost is $495, no matter how much it offers, the customer is going to feel scammed at the first hurdle that he has to overcome. I've seen some great programs for $495, but they are usually pitched at the wrong people. Programmes that cost under one hundred bucks are easier to sell, and easier to justify by the customer. The customer will probably get more from it because he won't be mad at at himself, all the time for making the purchase in the first place.
2. The creator of the programme should create a forum for customers
The trouble with this idea is that it does require some commitment on the part of the course owner. I know at least one marketer who solves this problem by arranging to have a section of the warrior forum dedicated to his customers. Others will only create a forum if there is an on-going monthly fee.
This may be the only affordable way to do it, but if the content is good, then the programme owner should have no problem offering this type of support to his clients. Online business opportunities is becoming more support-centric that product-centric. Anyone can have a great idea, but only a few can create support systems that make the idea implementable.
3. A good Internet Marketing Programme must adapt to changes online
The Internet is growing very fast, and as it does, new ideas, or ways of promoting products are surfacing all the time. Right now, Facebook is rivaling Google.com as a place to advertise, with terrific targeting too. Yahoo and Microsoft have formed alliances to compete with Google, and Banner advertising is popular again, under a different name.
In the meantime, customers are looking for quality content when they surf the search engines, and the heavy-weight search engines are determined to give it to them, at the expense of their advertisers, even though Google.com makes 90% of its revenues from advertising! But everyone of these changes represents an opportunity to prosper. A wise man will make more opportunities that he finds. Internet money making opportunities abound online. Don't wait to find one before you start cashing in. Make one!
